Beyond services, what companies look for in a technology consultancy are solutions that make the difference for their business, and that end up reflecting on trust in their suppliers. It is the scenario experienced with one of our customers, Viação Ouro e Prata, a traditional road transport company based in Porto Alegre (RS).

In December 2015, the Viação Ouro e Prata IT management hired Nap IT to meet some specific needs in its corporate network. And the Nap IT professionals answered to the call according to our premise, offering good service to their clients, from the services definition to be provided to the execution, regardless of the project size to be performed.

The Nap IT high technical team qualification, added to the good service, made all the difference with this client, and as a result generated satisfaction and the recurrence of contracts.

High performance pursuit

Viação Ouro e Prata has almost 80 years of history, carrying out operations in the South, Southeast, Midwest and North regions in Brazil. Its need at that moment was for their computer network increased performance, given the implementing urgency and setting up a Wireless Guest network, aimed at the company users and visitors.

The project initial step was given by a Nap IT Assessment application, which contemplated the technology environment analysis, so that the necessary changes for the new network implantation were identified. This more in-depth analysis aimed at improving the infrastructure understanding and the required internet links. The goal was to know how the new technologies would connect to the existing equipment in the company, so that the performance level would not be affected by the access to the wireless network.

Technologies for videoconferencing

Faced with a new need, now focused on videoconferencing with more security and stability, the company contacted Nap IT again. At the time, Viação Ouro e Prata did not have a corporate videoconference solution and, for that, used the free Skype version.

With the enterprise tool implementation, Skype for Business, Nap IT provided customer network intelligence so that it could understand what it would take to adapt to the solution use.

Incident monitoring

Nap IT’s history of attending Viação Ouro e Prata was not limited to integrations. At another time, there was an incident in the network infrastructure and the company had its processes interrupted.

“When they opened the call for Nap IT, the physical failure problem was detected on a switch port and the solution was executed within one hour”, recalls Nap IT’s Technical Account Manager, Sandro Santos.

Making the difference

Currently, the work with Nap IT is still under way for the company’s Data Center renewal. The project includes switching switches and monitoring network performance under the 8×5 model.

We have come here with this partnership with the client, and we have collected examples that, even in the punctual projects execution, it is possible to make a difference in the market, not only for the team technical qualification, but also for the good service.
